Basketball Recap: Zionsville Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Camden Moore and Drew Snively

Zionsville was the 56-41 winner over Brownsburg when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Zionsville Eagles lost 62-42 to the Brownsburg Bulldogs on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 100th).

Drew Snively and Camden Moore certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Snively went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points and seven boards, while Moore posted 12 points. What's more, Snively also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Maguire Mitchell was another key player, putting up ten points.

Brownsburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brandon Addison led the charge by going 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Devon Craig, who had ten points along with seven boards and five assists.

Zionsville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Brownsburg, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Zionsville has already played their next matchup (against Pike), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brownsburg has already played their next contest, a 71-52 victory against Maconaquah on the 1st.
