The Hand Tigers will face off against the Cheshire Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hand took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Notre Dame, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers never let the Green Knights get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Cheshire fell victim to Xavier and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the Falcons. The loss continues a trend for Cheshire in their meetings with Xavier: they've now lost four in a row.

Hand's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-3. As for Cheshire, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2.

Hand beat Cheshire by a goal when the teams last played back in September, winning 1-0. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
