Santa Teresa put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Oak Grove Eagles, posting a 51-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Saints' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Eagles are ranked 798th).

Santa Teresa got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Salvador Guerrero out in front who threw for 176 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes. The Saints also got a significant boost from Brian Caldwell, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 106 yards.

Santa Teresa's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Oak Grove, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Santa Teresa will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Live Oak at 7:15 p.m. on October 11. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 868 yards in their previous games. As for Oak Grove, they will face off against Leland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
