Volleyball Recap: Maypearl's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Maypearl needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight matches and they got it from Campbell Rendahl. The Panthers put the hurt on the Rice Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday thanks in part to Rendahl, who had six digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 14 or more assists the last three times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-9.

Maypearl's win bumped their record up to 19-20. As for Rice, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season.

Maypearl didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Palmer on the 14th. As for Rice, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Blooming Grove on the 14th.
