Volleyball Recap: Yellow Medicine East Comes Up Short

Yellow Medicine East lost against Redwood Valley back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sting fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. The Sting's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Yellow Medicine East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Redwood Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-9 record.

Coincidentally, Yellow Medicine East and Redwood Valley will both be playing Cedar Mountain the next time they take the court. The Sting will host the Cougars at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
