Soccer Game Preview: Salem vs. Franklin

The Salem Rocks will square off against the Franklin Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Salem came up short against Adams on Thursday, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Salem have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Franklin didn't have quite enough to beat Divine Child on Thursday and fell 5-4.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Salem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-2 record this season.

Salem took their victory against Franklin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. In that matchup, the Rocks amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
