Softball Recap: River Islands Takes a Loss

The River Islands Riptide lost 12-6 to the Delta Charter Dragons on Friday.

River Islands now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Delta Charter, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Islands will square off against Millennium at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. River Islands will need to watch out since Millennium has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Delta Charter, they will head out to square off against Elliot Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elliot Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.75 runs per game on average), something Delta Charter will no doubt try to take advantage of.
