Basketball Game Preview: Clinton School vs. Rustin

Clinton School will square off against Rustin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lila Tepperberg put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Victoria Choi, who scored ten points and seven boards.

Rustin has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 64-51 to Beacon on Wednesday.

Clinton School's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Rustin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything came up roses for Clinton School against Rustin in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, as the squad secured a 69-23 victory. In that contest, Clinton School amassed a halftime lead of 49-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
