Softball Recap: Valley Center Comes Up Short

Valley Center fell victim to San Pasqual and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on April 14th.

This is the second loss in a row for Valley Center and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for San Pasqual, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Center will challenge Westview at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for San Pasqual, they will take on Fallbrook at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
