Baseball Recap: North Caddo Has No Trouble Against Homer

North Caddo never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Homer Pelicans 13-0. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Pelicans: they've now won six in a row.

North Caddo let Holt Tunstall and Walker Young run wild. Tunstall scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while Young scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave Tunstall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sal Byargeon, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

North Caddo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .773. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Homer only posted an OBP of .200.

North Caddo's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Homer, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Caddo will welcome Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Homer, they will be playing at home against Arcadia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
