Softball Recap: Asbury Takes a Loss

Asbury fell victim to Collinsville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Asbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Collinsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Asbury will take on Fyffe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Collinsville, they will face off against Ider at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
