Basketball Recap: Haddon Township Takes a Loss

Haddon Township lost against Woodbury back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Haddon Township Hawks fell just short of the Woodbury Thundering Herd by a score of 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hawks have suffered against the Thundering Herd since January 31, 2019.

Haddon Township's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Woodbury, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Haddon Township will face off against Clayton on February 26th. Clayton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 matches -- so hopefully Haddon Township likes a good challenge. As for Woodbury, they will challenge Glassboro on February 26th.
