Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Charter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Excelsior Charter lost against Academy for Academic Excellence back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Excelsior Charter was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Academy for Academic Excellence's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-11, 25-23.

Excelsior Charter's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Excelsior Charter will challenge Lucerne Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, they will face off against Academy of Careers & Exploration at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
