It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Hazard ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-59 win over the Breathitt County Bobcats. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Breathitt County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braxton Terry, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Terry is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last seven games he's played. Austin Sperry was another key player, putting up 17 points and five boards.

Hazard's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points over those games. As for Breathitt County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.

Hazard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-57 win against Estill County on the 21st. As for Breathitt County, they have also already played their next contest, a 59-57 victory against Knott County Central on the 21st.
