Rolling Meadows hasn't had much luck against Buffalo Grove recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bison at 4:45 p.m. Rolling Meadows is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rolling Meadows and Palatine meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Mustangs lost 13-7 to the Pirates.

Joe Brigham made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Hextall, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Buffalo Grove couldn't beat Lake Zurich on Saturday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Bison fell 14-9 to the Bears. While the Bison didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 6-1 in the first period.

Rocco Perricone was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Jordan Dudek was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Buffalo Grove's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Everything went Rolling Meadows' way against Buffalo Grove when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Rolling Meadows made off with a 14-4 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
