Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Raritan). They put the hurt on the Freehold Boro Colonials with a sharp 11-2 victory on Tuesday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Colonials recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Raritan got a massive performance out of James Nichols, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Nichols has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Warren, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Raritan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Raritan's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Freehold Boro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Raritan will have a chance to go back-to-back against Freehold Boro: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
