Flag Football Recap: Ava Martin and Ceirra Wilburn Pace Littleton Defense

It was a proper cat-fight when Littleton duked it out with Elizabeth on Friday. The Lions fell 19-7 to the Cardinals. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Littleton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ava Martin and Ceirra Wilburn.

Elizabeth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Guhl led the charge by picking up 81 receiving yards and two scores. Those 81 receiving yards gave Guhl a new career-high.

Littleton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Elizabeth, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Littleton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against Dakota Ridge on the 22nd. As for Elizabeth, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-0 win against The Vanguard School on the 23rd.
