Volleyball Recap: American Fork Has No Trouble Against Box Elder + How To Watch

American Fork won the last time they faced Box Elder and things went their way on Friday too. The Cavemen put the hurt on the Bees with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cavemen not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

American Fork never let Box Elder on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

Macy Melville paced American Fork's offense, picking up 17 kills. Melville got some help from Brynn Murray and her 21 assists. Melville was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The victory made it two in a row for American Fork and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Box Elder, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Coincidentally, American Fork and Box Elder will both be playing Viewmont the next time they take the court. The Bees will host the Vikings at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cavemen will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
