Softball Recap: Kewaunee Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kewaunee's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Southern Door Eagles on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Storm have lost by exactly three runs.

Kewaunee has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Southern Door, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Kewaunee and Southern Door should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Storm (ranked 103rd) will meet Gibraltar (ranked 320th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southern Door will take on Crivitz at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (79 vs. 232).
