Softball Recap: Randolph Cardinals vs. Olean Huskies
Randolph had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Olean Huskies by a score of 6-3 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Aliza Hind was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over eight innings while giving up three earned runs off 11 hits. What's more, she gave up only two walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Sadie S.Steward and Isabella Syracuse did most of the damage at the plate: S.Steward went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Syracuse went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Grace Arnold-Hill was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
