Softball Recap: West Memphis Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Memphis's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Valley View Blazers on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Blazers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

West Memphis' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Valley View, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Memphis will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Batesville at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Valley View, they will take on Harding Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley View's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Harding Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
