Lutheran entered their tilt with Dearborn on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Pioneers 7-1. Considering the Warriors have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Dearborn, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran will square off against Lutheran Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
