Recap: Olympic Heights Lions vs. West Boca Raton Bulls
The Olympic Heights Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of West Boca Raton by a score of 65-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (61), Olympic Heights still had to take the loss.
Olympic Heights' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harrison Cohen, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Jake Harbatkin was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Olympic Heights' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for West Boca Raton, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympic Heights will take on Pine Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Boca Raton, they will be playing at home against Somerset Academy Key at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
