Baseball Game Preview: Solorio Sun Warriors vs. Taft Eagles

The Solorio Sun Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Taft Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Solorio didn't have quite enough to beat Palatine and fell 6-4. The Sun Warriors have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Keiber Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Sebastian Davila-Adames was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Taft was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 10-2. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Taft fell to 2-1. As for Solorio, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
