North Dallas is a perfect 10-0 against Wilmer-Hutchins since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Dallas has nine straight victories, Wilmer-Hutchins has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While North Dallas' win against Pinkston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Vikings on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since February 24, 2024.

Alizea Puente spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Valeria Rojas, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Alondra Arredondo, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Wilmer-Hutchins came up short against Conrad on Tuesday, falling 28-6.

North Dallas pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.4 runs over those games. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went North Dallas' way against Wilmer-Hutchins when the teams last played back in March, as North Dallas made off with a 33-13 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
