Football Recap: Ponitz Career Tech Comes Up Short

Ponitz Career Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Monroe Hornets.

Ponitz Career Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Monroe, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Ponitz Career Tech and Monroe could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Golden Panthers will face off against Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (640 vs. 302). Meanwhile, Monroe (ranked 329th) will meet Clinton-Massie (ranked 77th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
