Basketball Game Preview: Avalon Eagles vs. Gustine Tigers

The Avalon Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Gustine Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Avalon lost to Milford on the road by a 44-26 margin. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Gustine entered their tilt with Ranger on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 69-19 win. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gustine, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
