Football Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Reed-Custer Comets 34-0. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Reed-Custer, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Harvard and Reed-Custer will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hornets will face off against rival Woodstock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Reed-Custer is set to challenge their familiar foe Streator at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
