Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Fairhope

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fairhope had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Foley Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Fairhope was led to victory by Paige Benson and Addy Busby. Benson had nine digs and six aces, while Busby had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs Benson has posted over her last two contests.

They weren't the only good servers: Fairhope was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Fairhope pushed their record up to 23-19 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Foley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-21.

Fairhope has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Bayside Academy on the 16th. Foley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
