Baseball Recap: Williamson Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Williamson's offense. They came up short against the Athens Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Williamson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kohen Flynn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Flynn is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Williamson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Athens, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.
