Baseball Recap: Tiverton Tigers vs. Providence Country Day Knights

Tiverton posted their closest win since April 22nd on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Providence Country Day Knights, sneaking past 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Knights back in April, they had to take a 5-3 loss.

Tiverton got a great performance from Aiden Silvia as he struck out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Silvia a new career-high.
