Football Recap: Lenape Comes Up Short

Lenape was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ocean City Raiders, falling 22-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 21-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Lenape's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ocean City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lenape and Ocean City will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians are set to square off against their familiar foe Eastside at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Ocean City will face off against rival Atlantic City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
