Volleyball Recap: Lower Merion Aces vs. Central Lancers

Lower Merion had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Central Lancers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Aces have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Lower Merion walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Bella Rauer, who had five aces and three blocks. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

She wasn't the only good server: Lower Merion was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive games.

Lower Merion pushed their record up to 10-12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Central, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.
