Softball Recap: Northampton County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Northampton County challenged Wilson Prep on Tuesday. Northampton County fell just short of Wilson Prep by a score of 14-12. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Northampton County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wilson Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northampton County will challenge rival Southeast Halifax at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilson Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe KIPP P at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
