Basketball Recap: Academy of Richmond County Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

Academy of Richmond County extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from NaCja Johnson. The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers walked away with a 51-44 win over the Aquinas Fightin' Irish on Tuesday thanks in part to Johnson, who posted 16 points. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Academy of Richmond County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Aquinas, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Academy of Richmond County has already played their next game (against West Laurens), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Aquinas will look to defend their home court on Friday against Baldwin at 6:00 p.m.
