Saint Francis took down Palo Alto on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Ian McMahon's standout performance. McMahon was dynamite, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
