Basketball Recap: Plattsburg Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Plattsburg challenged North Platte on Friday. The Plattsburg Tigers lost 67-43 to the North Platte Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Panthers are ranked 114th).

Plattsburg's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-10. As for North Platte, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

While Plattsburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
