Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eaglecrest). They had just enough and edged out the Lakewood Tigers 4-3 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Eaglecrest needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Eaglecrest's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Lakewood, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eaglecrest will host Cherokee Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakewood, they will be playing at home against Valor Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Valor Christian's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lakewood's offense will have their work cut out for them.
