Lincoln-Way East won the last time they faced Lincoln-Way Central and things went their way on Saturday too. Lincoln-Way East walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lincoln-Way Central.

Matthew Muehlnickel paced Lincoln-Way East's offense, picking up six kills. Muehlnickel got some help from Dylan Nanney and his nine assists. Muehlnickel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Lincoln-Way East's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln-Way East will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Plainfield North at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will welcome Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
