Football Game Preview: Sage Hill Lightning vs. Flintridge Prep Wolves

For the first time this season, Sage Hill will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Flintridge Prep Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Sage Hill against California Lutheran as the squad secured a 46-12 victory. Given the Lightning's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the C-Hawks are ranked 62nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 38-8 win over Orcutt Academy. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.

Flintridge Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Sage Hill, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
