Soccer Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was the 1-0 winner over Chaparral when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The University Trojans fell just short of the Chaparral Bobcats by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

University now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for Chaparral, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will host Belton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaparral, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Chaparral take on the Waco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral's last six games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
