Soccer Recap: Kettle Run Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Handley, Kettle Run was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sherando Warriors by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kettle Run's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Sherando, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
