The Faith Christian Academy Falcons will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Hancock Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Faith Christian Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 55-15 loss at the hands of Shalom Christian Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Faith Christian Academy in their matchups with Shalom Christian Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Hancock, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They were beaten by Northern 59-26 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Hancock can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Northern is ranked 124th).
Faith Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hancock, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
