Baseball Recap: Philipsburg-Osceola Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Philipsburg-Osceola gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Juniata Valley Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountaineers have posted since March 18th.

Nick DeSimone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, Zac Wagner was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
