Game recap: Penns Grove High School Football Team tops Glassboro

After taking the lead on a Juwan Johnson touchdown run, Glassboro (N.J.) went into halftime with a 12-6 lead. Penns Grove (Carneys Point, N.J.) took the lead to win the game on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.

Despite scoring zero points in the third, the Red Devils still trailed by six points going into the fourth quarter. But eight points in the fourth helped Penns Grove pull out the victory.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 54-0 win for PG.

Penns Grove (1-0) goes up against Gloucester Catholic in a West Jersey - Diamond game matchup next week, while Glassboro (0-1) locks horns with Woodstown also in a West Jersey - Diamond game.
