Rogers never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Mars Hill Bible Panthers. Considering the Pirates have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bo Mitchell was excellent, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Rogers' success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 9-13 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Green, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Rogers and bumps their season record up to 14-13. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Mars Hill Bible, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Rogers will head out to face off against Red Bay at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mars Hill Bible, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
