Roosevelt hadn't done well against Red Hook recently (they were 0-6-1 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Presidents' defense stepped up to hand the Raiders a 1-0 shutout. Roosevelt wouldn't have won without Casey D'Alessandro, who scored the game-winner.

The win got Roosevelt back to even at 2-2. As for Red Hook, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
