Apex Friendship was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cary on Tuesday. The Apex Friendship Patriots put the hurt on the Cary Imps with a sharp 64-44 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Cary's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lee Podger, who posted nine points and five boards. Chase Cleveland was another key player, putting up eight points.

Apex Friendship's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Cary, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Apex Friendship wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-33 loss against Green Level on the 13th. As for Cary, they have also already played their next match, a 57-42 defeat against Green Hope on the 14th.
