Baseball Recap: Evangelical Christian Comes Up Short

Evangelical Christian and Canterbury squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Evangelical Christian had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sentinels have suffered since March 18th.

Evangelical Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harlan Haugen, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Ryder Lutz was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Evangelical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Canterbury, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

As of now, neither Evangelical Christian nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
