Blaine has gone 7-2 against Squalicum recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Borderites will welcome the Storm at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Blaine's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Squalicum has been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Blaine headed into their last matchup having not scored more than two runs for seven straight, but Mt. Baker let them put that streak behind them. The Borderites were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Mountaineers on Tuesday. The Borderites not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22nd.

Meanwhile, Squalicum fell victim to Meridian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Squalicum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Blaine, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Blaine was able to grind out a solid win over Squalicum in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 9-5. Do the Borderites have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Storm turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
